Soooo, there’s a lot going on this month – yay!
Anatomical Focus of the Month: SHOULDERS
Moga GIVES BACK
Starting this May, we are going to support a local charity each month. We are all very blessed in our own lives and it’s important that we all give back and share our blessings with the people (and animals) of our community.
This month we are teaming up with Pat’s Place which is located in the heart of Dilworth on East boulevard. Pat’s Place is the only child advocacy center serving Mecklenburg County children. They provide a child-friendly setting where a skilled team of professionals work together under one roof to evaluate child sexual abuse allegations by offering forensic interviews, medical exams, multidisciplinary team consultation and family support.
We will have a donation box at our studio and you can drop off any of the following items:
- Journals & Fun Pens
- Sports-Related Items
- Board & Card Games
- 6 oz Play-Doh
- Bottled Water
- Juice Boxes
- Healthy, Pre-Packaged Snacks

What is a slow flow class?
Poses are held for 30 – 45 seconds and flow from one pose to the next and are linked together in a sequence. This class is great for anyone that is looking for increased flexibility, stress relief, and a little faster pace than the deep stretch class.
What can you expect in the foam roller/lacrosse ball class?
The class will be 45 minutes long and will work the entire body, with an emphasis on the anatomical region of the month. We will be focusing on softening and lengthening the myofasica system (made up of superficial fascia and muscle), which will increase flexibility and range of motion and will reduce pain and soreness.
As events get closer to the date, we will be blogging more specific information for each one – keep checking for updates!
And…if you haven’t heard us singing from the rooftops about you yet….
|As always, please feel free to email us with any questions, comments, and/or concerns – your feedback is extremely important to us!! Your support means the WORLDto us!!!!
There are a lot of exciting cool things happening this month, so we hope you will be able to attend an event and we’ll see you in class soon!!
Lots of love,
Beth and Emily Breeze
