I started going to MOGA for Thai Yoga Massage.almost 3 months ago. The attention to flexibility and a true stretch is what impressed me. I have had a good therapist in the past, but now I have found one that I can spend 60 minutes on just flexibility and lactic acid release.
I still do individual sessions and attend normally twice a week group classes. I've been a tennis player my whole life and Moga helps to take care of the never ending wear and tear on my legs and hips. As a result, I have increased my range of motion and recover faster. Most importantly is the IT band and patella tendons it has been relieved from inflammation.
If you are competitive in your training, cross fit, tennis, or just the daily grind of sitting in cars and desk all-day, MOGA is for you. Beth and Emily are both great and know the clients and the specific needs of their clients.
I highly recommend Moga because it's not a bunch of weird advanced yoga moves, it's just good deep yoga stretches. I had a noticeable improvement with a hip issue I have had for several years. I have been working with a physical therapist for months and it's improved, but the YOGA class helped it even more. Its the icing on the cake.
I have attended many Yoga studios over the years, and have seen the benefits. MOGA is different though. I much prefer the emphasis on the stretching and lengthening, it is a style I have not experienced. As a competitive athlete, I'm always looking for ways to improve my results, recover faster, get stronger and just feel better. The feel better can be underestimated. MOGA makes me feel better! I can already see the results.
